Overview
From the Inventory menu you can
- Add a new seed lot
- List existing seed lots
- Make Adjustments to existing seed lots
- Create and view transactions from seed lots.
- This feature is still under development.
Add New Seed Lots
Lots must be defined before seed from the lot can be sold. There are two ways to define a seed lot.
- Automatically get seed lot from the lab.
- Manually enter the information of a new seed lot.
From The Lab
You can define an inventory item by retrieving the information from your seed lot data that has been processed by the lab.
If the desired lot is not in the Seed Lot list, choose the Lab and then enter the Lab Number or the Lot Number.
Manual Entry
You can also create a seed lot manually by entering all the information in the new lot form, seen to the right. You can click on the image to see it full size.
List the Inventory
This screen Lists all of your defined seed lots. The list can be filtered on
- Lot Number
- Crop Name
- Variety
There are links next to each seed lot.
- [view] - Displays detailed lot information.
- [edit] - Displays and allows edit/deletion of the lot.
- [results] - Displays the lab test results of the lot
Detailed Lot View
This screen displays
- Detailed information about the seed lot
- Lists transactions against the seed lot.
- Details can be found by clicking the [View] link next to the transaction
- Links to page displaying the lab test results of the seed lot.
- Links at the top of the page are things you can do with your seed lot
- Create a Sample
- Create a Bulk Cert
- Advertise your seed
- Sell your seed
This page is the same as the Edit seed lot screen, except the view screen does not allow changes to be made to the information.
Make Lot Adjustments
This screen is used when you need to make an adjustment to the balance of your lot, perhaps due to waste, transfers, spills etc.
This is not the screen where you create seed sales though it looks very similar.
Transactions
The Transactions option is under construction. When complete you will be able to adjust inventory due to sales outside the online system.
