Overview
Much of the important information flow in our branch of the seed industry too often goes to paper, fax and email, or requires manual re-entry from one system to another.
Growers and Seed Companies that send samples to PH labs often use more than one PH lab, or have more than one account at a particular lab. Pure Harvest Lab Manager and Field Inspection software products are focused on the internal needs of the seed lab and the growers association.
There is no sharing of information from one lab to another, from a lab to an independent growers association, or even from one customer account to another. Lab customers can download PDF reports, but the customer has to log into each of their accounts separately.
When we started thinking about creating samples electronically, and creating bulk sales certificates online, we wanted to offer companies the ability to send samples and retrieve results to and from more than one lab, and control that information in their own private area.
Goals
Our goal is to provide an open interface that can move and view data, such as sample results and seed lot transactions, between labs, dealers, growers and the marketplace. This interface would allow users to fill out sale orders, submit samples to PH Labs, view the results of samples submitted to PH Labs, etc.. within Seed Hub without needing to have any actual Pure Harvest software at any endpoints
Some Features
- Provide basic online inventory management.
- Transfer data from seed lab accounts into internal inventory systems.
- Transfer sample information from internal inventory system to any seed lab.
- Offer excess inventory for sale in a seed marketplace.
Pricing
- No Charge: Features that support communication between Pure Harvest labs, certification agencies and their customers will be provided at no charge.
- Extended Services: Features that offer extended services such as inventory management and communication with labs that do not use Pure Harvest will be priced separately and offered directly to the Seed Hub account holder. Pricing and options will be graduated so that the system is accessible to small dealers and growers as well as larger ones.
